Is there food provided on the ride?
Breakfast items will be provided at the starting point located at the Simi City Hall.  In addition, there will be a support vehicle that will have waters, power drinks and snacks and lunch will be provided by Firehouse Subs.

How many police stations do we visit? 
We will be visiting Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Camarillo, Port Huememe, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Paula, and Fillmore.  This is a total of 9 stations between 8AM – 3:30 PM.

Where does the money go for the ride?
The money raised will go to the Oxnard Police Community Foundation and separated out to make available, Wellness Training for “All” of our First Responders of Ventura County to make sure they are the best they can be in their profession.

What does the rider get for $50?
Each participant is provided a ride t–shirt, breakfast items from Starbucks, refreshments along the ride-route, and lunch from Firehouse Subs.

Are there bathrooms available along the ride?
Bathrooms will be provided for the riders at each of police stations we visit..

How many years have you been hosting on this event?
This will be my 9th year hosting this event to honor the First Responders of Ventura County.

What happens when we ride to each station?
At each of the 9 stations we roll into the parking lot, park out bikes, hop off and shake hands with the first responders and thank them for their service.

Are there bathrooms going to be available at the police stations?
Each on of the police stations will have bathrooms available for the riders to use.  So we are no more than ½ hour away from a bathroom.

How much money do you raise on an annual basis?
On average we will raise $30,000 annually for this one-day event.

What happens if I must stop along the way?  Can I re-enter the ride?
Absolutely!  Everyone will have the ride route and if you need to stop along the way, just meet us outside the police station at the next stop. 

Will the ride route be posted?
The ride route will be posted on the website and throughout different agencies so that the community can come out and support our journey.

Can I sponsor this event?
We would love you to sponsor this event.  We highly encourage riders, businesses, and the community to sponsor the event to help our First Responders be the best they can be.

Can I donate to the event?
When you register for the event, there is donation button.  Click on this button and you can donate to the event when you register for the ride. You can also make a donation on our donate page at any time.

Who are we visiting at each of the police stations?
At each location, we will have Dr.’s, Nurses, EMT’s, Paramedics, Firefighters, and law enforcement officers. OUR First Responders of Ventura County.

How will the event be publicized?
We will advertise on KHAY Country Radio the entire month before the event.  And KHAY Country will broadcast live with us along the ride route letting the community know where we will be and what time we will be at each location.
